Day 238.
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;
his mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.
“The Lord is my portion,” says my soul,
“therefore I will hope in him.” (Lamentations 3:22-24 ESV)
It is reassuring to know that God’s mercies cannot be exhausted. Every morning they are new again. This is not a license to sin, but a reminder when our hearts our heavy. God’s love and mercy to us cannot be exhausted.
