Day 70.
May all who seek you
rejoice and be glad in you!
May those who love your salvation
say evermore, “God is great!” (Ps 70:4 ESV)
Read this tonight and was struck by the psalmists interjection of it into this psalm which is otherwise one of desperation. In the midst of his cry for help and the defeat of his enemies he blurts out this prayer. O, to have this alway in the forefront of thought when things don’t pan out the way you hope or expected, or when things seem dismal and crumbling around you. May it be so for us.
