When I started this blog the idea was to publish it daily on a thought or prayer that struck me from my daily Bible reading. I attended Lynn Oliphant’s funeral yesterday and it was a beautiful service. So clearly the question of eternity was put front and center. What do you believe about God? On what do you base your hope for the future? “Will it be well with you when he searches you out?” This is the question Job puts to his friends and, by extension, to us. When you consider every moment, every thought, every inclination of your heart throughout your life, what do you find? What will God find?
