And when he was in distress, he entreated the favor of the Lord his God and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers. He prayed to him, and God was moved by his entreaty and heard his plea and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord was God. (2CH 33:12-13 ESV)
Manassas did terrible things as king. The list of ways he led Israel away from God and followed foreign God’s is long. And yet, on what looked like his death bed he grumbles himself and prays and God hears. What am amazingly patient God we have! Let us not think even the most hardened friend or relative is beyond saving, nor believe that we have somehow crossed the line. As long as we have breath, God’s ears are open to our cry.
