Day 361.
Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul. For I rejoiced greatly when the brothers came and testified to your truth, as indeed you are walking in the truth. I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth. (3 John 1:2-4 ESV)
Here’s a short and sweet prayer, for health both physically and spiritually. As important as physical health is, it is the spiritual health that is tied to John’s greater joy. As you pray for your children in the faith, remember this!
Lord, I am so thankful for the privilege of seeing people growing in your church, and especially encouraged when I see glimpses of faith in my own children. Would you grant them steady growth in grace and protect them from their own temptations.
