Day 142.
The Lord has made known his salvation;
he has revealed his righteousness in the sight of the nations. (Psalm 98:2 ESV)
Sunday I went down to the Rio Grande Valley to install two pastors as EPC pastors into their respective churches. Their stories of having their property and assets taken from them by their former denomination was heart breaking but their joy and God’s provision quickly washes that heartbreak away. What a great privilege to be part of such a special service. These are our first Spanish speaking churches to enter the EPC and the service was in both Spanish and English. Singing a verse of a familiar hymn in Spanish and then English was such an amazing picture of God’s salvation going to the nations and a small foretaste of the new Jerusalem filled with people from every tongue gathered together to proclaim the salvation they have seen in their own parts of the world. How much will our own experience be enhanced on that day!
