Day 40.
“See, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with ability and intelligence, with knowledge and all craftsmanship… And I have given to all able men ability, that they may make all that I have commanded you: (Exodus 31:2, 3, 6 ESV)

In particular, these men were given abilities with which to make the tabernacle. But this goes for all the abilities that God gives to us. When God was commissioning Moses to go and lead the people out of Egypt, Moses protested,

“Oh, my Lord, I am not eloquent, either in the past or since you have spoken to your servant, but I am slow of speech and of tongue.” Then the Lord said to him, “Who has made man’s mouth? Who makes him mute, or deaf, or seeing, or blind? Is it not I, the Lord? Now therefore go, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what you shall speak.”

God has given each of us a unique set of abilities with which we are to glorify the Lord.

What abilities has God given you?
