Day 165.
Psalm 106 calls God’s people to worship and reflects on all the events during the exodus, from the great things that God did to the ways Israel rebelled. This passage in particular gets me. What a powerful foreshadowing of the work of Christ found in Moses!

They forgot God, their Savior,
who had done great things in Egypt,
wondrous works in the land of Ham,
and awesome deeds by the Red Sea.
Therefore he said he would destroy them—
had not Moses, his chosen one,
stood in the breach before him,
to turn away his wrath from destroying them. (Psalm 106:21-23)
