When we begin to look around and find the rich and powerful in our society to be people who give no thought to the Lord, it should not surprise us. Even in ancient Israel the Psalmist saw as much. It can be hard to swallow and confusing when we think about this world belonging to God and this world giving way to the Kingdom of God. The Psalmist gives us the key that will keep us from stumbling in such times, and that is worship. Listen to what he writes,

16But when I thought how to understand this,
   it seemed to me a wearisome task,
17until I went into the sanctuary of God;
   then I discerned their end. (Psalm 73:16-17)
