Growing in grace means growing I your appreciation for the salvation that has been accomplished and given to you. It is beyond all the treasures of this world; beyond anything we can comprehend. As we endure trials and cling to the Lord, as we find him comforting us and guiding us, as we find him convicting us of sin and showing us a better way, we grow in joy and love. That is the expectation of a Christian.

Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory, obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls. (1 Peter 1:8-9)
