McCheyne’s Bible Reading Plan: Ex 23, Jn 2, Job 41, 2 Co 11

Can you draw out Leviathan… (Job 41:1)
Lay your hands on him; remember the battle—you will not do it again! (Job 41:8)
His back is made of rows of shields, shut up closely as with a seal. (Job 41:15)
His sneezings flash forth light, and his eyes are like the eyelids of the dawn.
Out of his mouth go flaming torches; sparks of fire leap forth.
Out of his nostrils comes forth smoke, as from a boiling pot and burning rushes.
His breath kindles coals, and a flame comes forth from his mouth. (Job 41:18-21)
He sees everything that is high; he is king over all the sons of pride. (Job 41:34)

This chapter fascinates me. Did you ever wonder where our picture of dragons came from? Could this be a creature long lost?
